TOUR MANAGER/CDL DRIVER

Tour Managers need to be Class A CDL certified and are responsible for ensuring the safe transport of tour vehicles and properties to each event. In addition to transportation duties, the CDL driver will also act as a tour lead, responsible for the overall excellence in tour execution. Tour Managers are directly in-charge of Tour Assistants and all Brand Ambassadors during the course of the activation.

Responsibilities:
  • Recording event/tour logistics.
  • Managing overall tour route, locations and timing.
  • Ensures we do not violate any laws.
  • Supervises team/manages staff and run of show.
  • Leads & assists in set-up/break down of events.
  • Manages days off, travel days and event execution days.
  • Oversees the loading and packing of trailers.
  • Acts as a liaison between NewScope’s event & office staff.
  • Staying well versed on the product, brand, initiatives, etc.
  • Picture taking throughout the course of the event.
  • Logs hours & tracks fuel in accordance with USDOT rules.
  • Subject to random drug & alcohol testing in accordance with NewScope’s DOT drug and alcohol policy.
  • Required to keep your license, medical card and other required certifications current during the tour.

TOUR ASSISTANT

Our Tour Assistant’s are trained to be Ford Product Specialists and will be responsible for ensuring and supporting excellence in tour execution. Specific emphasis is on successfully running tour activities as well as maintaining tour equipment. Tour Assistant’s MUST be well spoken and eager to talk to consumers. Consumers will typically engaged first by Tour Brand Amabassadors who are then introduced to a Tour Assistant for any questions about Ford products and to relay any news about upcoming promotions or technology to watch out for. Tour Assistants report directly to the Tour Managers and help ensure that the setup, activation, and breakdown go smoothly while educating consumers and encouraging sweepstakes entries.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists the Tour Manager in managing the show & staff.
  • Assists in set-up/break-down of events.
  • Sets up tour trailer, vehicles, pop-up tents, & signage.
  • Manages days off, travel days and event execution days.
  • Oversees the loading and packing of trailers.
  • May be required to drive to certain events.
  • Capture event photos.
  • Articulate the capabilities of Ford vehicles.
  • Anything else that may be asked of you.
  • Subject to random drug & alcohol testing in accordance with NewScope’s DOT drug and alcohol policy.
  • Required to keep your license, medical card and other required certifications current during the tour.

BRAND AMBASSADOR

Brand ambassadors play an integral role in NewScope’s event marketing strategy. A brand ambassador is on site to communicate with consumers and to raise brand awareness, connecting brands on a deeper level with their customers. In many ways, our brand ambassadors are the core of the experiential marketing approach offered at all of our events.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute a successful brand promotion to consumers.
  • Create educational, fun and interactive experience for consumers.
  • Invite consumers to participate in interactive features of activation.
  • Distribute swag, and expose consumers to the brand.
  • Be polite and friendly as a face of the Ford brand.
  • Encourage consumers to enter into Ford National sweepstakes.
  • Ensure all entries are filled out completely before submission.
  • Staying vigilant in keeping giveaways from being stolen.
  • Monitering which consumers have already recieved a giveaway.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the current sweepstakes rules.
  • Use of cell-phone during event hours is prohibited.
  • No visible tattoos unless otherwise approved.
  • The use of alcohol, illicit substances, and profanity is strictly prohibited.
